The international principles of good corporate governance (which is legislative in nature) requires that all corporate entities should have a Risk Management Department which is comprised of the functions directly involved in guarding against potential risks to the company.

The objective for risk management within Denel Land Systems is to reduce the different risks related to a pre-selected domain to the level accepted by society. It may refer to numerous types of threats caused by environment, technology, humans, organizations and politics.

SECURITY
As a National Key Point, Denel Land Systems is governed by specific legislation which ensures effective protection of the organization. In order to provide a security service compliant with the National Key Point Act and other related legislation, security threats were identified and the necessary control measures put in place.
