The international principles of good corporate governance (which is legislative in nature) requires that all corporate entities should have a Risk Management Department which is comprised of the functions directly involved in guarding against potential risks to the company.  The objective for risk management within Denel Land Systems is to reduce the different risks related to a pre-selected domain to the level accepted by society. It may refer to numerous types of threats caused by environment, technology, humans, organisations and politics.

The Safety and Health of our employees, contractors, visitors and the communities in which we operate is an integral part of our business. Denel Land Systems Management also ensures that we proactively take good care regarding the sustainability and conservation of the environment.

Security

As a National Key Point, Denel Land Systems is governed by specific legislation which ensures effective protection of the organisation. In order to provide a security service compliant with the National Key Point Act and other related legislation, security threats were identified and the necessary control measures put in place.
