TURRET FAMILY
The MCT-30 turret forms part of a Modular Combat Turret (MCT) family developed by DENEL as part of the New Generation Infantry Combat Vehicle (NGICV) Programme for the South African National Defence Force. The NGICV programme consists of five Combat Variants:

• Section Variant (SV)
• Fire Support Variant (FSV)
• Mortar Variant (MV)
• Command Variant (CV)
• Missile Variant (MsV)

- Mounting the MCT-SV Turret (Denel 30 mm Cam Gun)
- Mounting the MCT-FSV Turret (Denel 30 mm Cam Gun)
- Mounting the MV Turret (60 mm LRM 60)
- Mounting the MCT-CV Turret
- Mounting the MCT-MsVTurret

All turrets are designed around the same basic Fighting Compartment Module (FCM) in which maximum communality and re-use of components and modules are achieved.

The FCM turret can be configured to any of the variants depicted, by the addition or removal of armour, sights and weapon system modules.
