TURRET FAMILY

The LCT-30 turret forms part of a Light Combat Turret family developed by Denel as part of the New Generation Infantry Combat Vehicle (NGICV) Programme for the South African National Defence Force. The NGICV programme will provide for five combat variants:

• Section Variants (SV) • Fire Support Variants (FSV) • Mortar Variants (MV) • Command Variants (CV) • Missile Variants (MSV)	Mounting the LCT-30 Turret Mounting the LCT-30 Turret Mounting the LCT-60 Turret Mounting the LCT-12,7 or LCT-40 Turret Mounting the LCT-INGWE Turret	All turrets are designed around the same basic Fighting Compartment Module (FCM) to ensure maximum commonality and re-use of components and modules. The FCM turret can be configured to any of the variants depicted, by the addition or removal of armour, sights and weapon system modules.
