In 2002 Denel Land Systems hosted and entertained a terminally ill patient on his 14th birthday and has once again opened its heart and gates to another Cancer patient.   
Adian Laubser a 6 year old cancer patient who is in grade 1, together with his parents and sister visited Denel Land Systems on the 21st September to fulfil his dream – a dream of many a young boy.    Adian Laubser is suffering from Leukemia and his body is not coping with constant chemotherapy.
Reach for a Dream contacted the SA National Defence Force who in turn contacted Denel Land Systems requesting assistance in making Adian’s dream come true.
At last, the day arrived and Adian was met by a host of friendly faces at the Denel Land System reception.   Adian and his family were treated to a video presentation of the company as well as the greatest prize of all, a ride on the Rooikat and G6.
The excitement and exhilaration of the ride was overwhelming.   Adian could not believe his eyes.   He enjoyed the ride and at last his dream had come true, and to crown it all he was given a party and showered with gifts after the ride.
